DAVID DER GEIST’S MOST INCREDIBLE REVEAL YET!
David der Geist’s NCAA bracket prediction was finally revealed, live on WPGU 107.1. Under close supervision, the safe which had been placed in the studio back on March 9 was finally opened, revealing a small locked box. Inside the box was a sealed envelope containing the predicted bracket. Although some of David’s entries were not immediately understood by the observers in the studio, our friend Jessica with The Daily Illini was on hand to research some of the more cryptic responses.
Monthly Movie Madness
Psychic Joker Entertainment and C-U Confidential have begun a monthly series of B-movie double-features, the Time Traveling Cinema. You might find campy sci-fi flicks, hilarious bits by Abbott & Costello, or maybe even a collection of the early works of Alfred Hitchcock! We’ll meet the final Friday of every month, downtown at SoDo Theatre, open the doors at 10pm and keep going until 2am, and all for just $5. Refreshments will also available for purchase. Our next performance by the Psychic Joker’s Time Traveling Radio Theatre Troupe will be coming to SoDo Theatre on June 8, 2012. “The Ending Everyone Wanted” is the tale of a time traveler who goes back in time hoping to stop the assassination of President Abraham Lincoln. If at first you don’t succeed…well, you’ll just have to tune in and hear the rest of the story! Admission is $10; doors open at 8:30pm, and the show begins at 9pm.
